Introducing your coach…
Welcome. I’m Sam (they/them), an ICF trained coach and student counsellor. I’m a neurodivergent, trans non-binary Indigiqueer person living, playing and working as an uninvited guest on the traditional, unceded territory of the Esquimalt and Songhees Nations, the stewards and caretakers of these lands and waters for time immemorial.
I come to this work with the understanding that people make sense in context. What you carry, how you respond, and the ways you’ve learned to get through are shaped by the conditions you’ve lived in—like roots growing in specific soil.
My practice is rooted in an anti-oppression, somatic awareness, and a commitment to working in ways that don’t reduce you to an individual problem to fix. Instead, together we pay attention to your patterns and histories, and the environments that have shaped them.

Coaching Sessions

A short, no-pressure space to connect and explore whether us working together feels like the right fit.
There’s no expectation to commit to anything afterward. This call is simply an opportunity to connect, get oriented, and see what feels supportive for you.

A one-time session for when you want space to talk something through, make sense of what’s coming up, or get oriented to a particular situation.
Some people use single sessions occasionally, while others return as needed over time. There’s no expectation of ongoing work—this option is here for flexibility and autonomy.

A short-term space to stay with something over time.
We meet for four sessions (typically over 4–6 weeks), allowing a bit more continuity than a single session. This can support slowing down, noticing patterns, and working with what emerges across sessions rather than starting fresh each time.

There are a limited number of single session sliding scale spots to support different levels of financial access.
If cost is a barrier, you’re welcome to choose a rate within the sliding scale that reflects your current circumstances. No explanation is required.
